All about the role:

We are looking for a passionate SAP Purchasing Architect with experiences in large scale projects, managing business requirements and designing fit for purpose solutions throughout the full lifecycle of the solution. This position will offer an international environment in an industry that is undergoing exciting changes and innovation. You will be responsible to continuously improve and govern our global SAP solution. The scope of purchasing includes both direct and indirect material and both external purchasing and internal stock transfer. It also includes the inbound logistics of these orders, master data, contract management, subcontracting and consignment. The role is part of Europe Asia Operations Solutions with a global responsibility. The position require ability to travel occasionally.

What you’ll do:

• Engage and collaborate in bigger projects in early phases, for strategic/complex solutions and for governance
• Engage in the full lifecycle from pre-studies, requirements gathering to solution delivery and support
• Work cross-functionally in close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Warehousing, Transportation and Supply Planning
• Be responsible for solution governance as architect in our change control process
• Drive a community of Subject Matter Experts to facilitate global collaboration and common solutions
• Actively engage in Enterprise Architecture forums and communities
• Own application roadmaps and ensure they are always up to date, aligned with Electrolux strategic direction, software lifecycle and aim for simplification
• Initiate innovations/improvements in procurement processes and applications linked to this process
• Act as interface between business stakeholders, functional and technical teams
• Provide 3rd level support to Service Desk as required to identify solutions to production issues during escalations by the Service Desk and the Business leadership

Core Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Logistics Management and/or Industrial Engineering or related field
• Several years of relevant SAP Purchasing experience in a multinational environment gained in full life-cycle projects
• Strong ability to convert business demand into structured requirements with clear logic and process mindset
• Service-minded with strong problem-solving skills and focus on quality, but still pragmatic
• Strong sense of ownership and focus on delivery
• Self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient – able to drive activities/projects without micromanagement
• Curious, quick learner, interest in innovation
• Ability to see the end-to-end picture, work with different viewpoints and identify critical dependencies
• Ability to work on both strategic level and dive into details, to find the most appropriate solutions
• Strong communication skills, verbally and written.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of counterparts from technical specialists to IT and business management.
• Good presentation skills and ability to influence others to support decision making within the organization.
• Fluent English with experience from international working environments

Software:

• SAP functional competence
  • Must have: SAP ECC MM, LE, Ariba
  • Nice to have: SAP ECC PP, SD, SCM/IBP, FI/CO
• Basic technical understanding of ABAP and integration (eg PI/PO)
• MS Office Package (Power Point, Excel, Word)
• MS Visio

You will be based in KL office, in Malaysia.
