Job Scope:

Responsible for preparing and baking a variety of different pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a love of working with food.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow recipes to prepare and bake a variety of different croissants, breads, pastries, and other baked goods
  • Measure ingredients accurately and consistently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the baking process
  • Decorate and finish baked goods as needed
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in baking or pastry making is desirable
  • Knowledge of baking ingredients, techniques, and equipment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Flexibility to work on weekends
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
