We are seeking an experienced and passionate Baker to join our Central Kitchen team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods to supply all our café locations. You will work closely with the Head Chef CK to ensure that all items meet our standards of freshness, flavor, and presentation. Our baked goods include a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other café offerings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to company recipes and quality standards. Ensure consistency in the quality and appearance of products across multiple café locations. Measure, mix, and blend ingredients accurately according to recipes. Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, and dough sheeters. Monitor the baking process and make adjustments to ensure optimal results. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and ensuring proper storage of ingredients. Collaborate with the Head Chef for different baking products. Meet daily production goals and ensure timely delivery to all café locations. Ensure that all products are fresh and baked to the highest standards, paying close attention to detail in presentation. Requirements: Proven experience as a Baker, preferably in a café or bakery environment. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients. Ability to work early morning shifts and flexible hours, as needed. Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality baked goods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients or trays.
