Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.

  • Assist colleagues during busy periods and provide support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Part-Time Kitchen Helper

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing vegetables, fruits, and meats.
  • Follow recipes and instructions provided by the kitchen staff to prepare basic dishes.
  • Assist in assembling and plating food items according to company standards.

Cleaning and Sanitation:

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and utensils.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Dispose of trash and waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized before and after use.

Stock and Inventory:

  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries of food and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the kitchen supervisor/manager of shortages.
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.

Equipment Maintenance:

  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and grills.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the kitchen supervisor/manager.

Support Kitchen Staff:

  • Assist chefs and cooks during busy periods by providing additional help as needed.
  • Carry out any other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by the kitchen supervisor/manager.
  • Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Health and Safety:

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: RM10.00 - RM12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 33 per week
