SCOPE : Responsible to Assist Banquet Manager in plan and co-ordinate the operation to meet the daily and short term needs for the outlet and to contribute in all aspects to the success and profitability of the Food and Beverage Department with consideration to operational costs and expenses, whilst providing an outstanding food and beverage service to guest.

JOB SPECIFICATION & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To supervise and co-ordinate daily operations of meeting /banquet setup and service

2. Maintain a friendly, neat, professional image to the guest. Be friendly and smiling under any circumstances, always check personal hygiene and be well groomed in appearance with an immaculate uniform.

3. To directly implement and maintain the standard of quality pertaining to the banquet within the scope of the food and beverage department to provide the best possible service to our guests.

4. Controls and analyses on an ongoing basis the quality level of service and controls production, guest satisfaction, casual workers payroll, cleanliness and hygiene to ensure optimum performance.

5. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations to ensure communication and information flow with the department. Eg. with Sales Department, Kitchen and Maintenance department.

6. Has a close contact with guests and receives their comments Takes immediate and appropriate action if any complaints is received.

7. Maintain operating ware inventory /Equipment and ensure there are in functioning condition. Check Banquet room defects and follow through all repairs

8. Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned by the Superior and Head of Department.
