  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

I. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITY

a. Accountable for the clinical teaching and supervision of nursing students in clinical settings.

b. Liaise with Nursing Lecturers and Unit Managers on matters related to student performance.

c. Conduct clinical evaluations of students' nursing skills.

d. Maintain records of students' clinical performance.

II. MAIN DUTIES

1. ORIENTATION

a. Orient all new students to the clinical setting.

b. Introduce new students to the Nurse Manager and staff nurses in the clinical area.

2. CLINICAL TEACHING

a. Create a conducive learning environment in the clinical area to maximize student benefit from clinical postings.

b. Conduct clinical teaching through bedside instruction and nursing rounds.

c. Demonstrate clinical and communication skills for students to emulate.

d. Uphold professionalism by always ensuring ethical practice.

3. SUPERVISION

a. Supervise students' clinical performance.

b. Provide immediate feedback at the end of procedures.

c. Guide students in assessing patients' nursing problems, planning care, and assisting in implementing and evaluating care.

4. ASSESSMENT

a. Assess and document students' clinical performance.

b. Serve as a practical examiner for Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE).

c. Record clinical procedure performance in the logbook.

5. ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS

a. Plan students' weekly duty rosters and rotate postings to various clinical areas for uniform exposure.

b. Assign daily tasks to students according to semester objectives provided by the college.

c. Obtain feedback from Nurse Managers or senior staff nurses before documenting the student's clinical report.

d. Submit students' clinical reports to the Coordinator of Clinical Placement.

e. Report to the Coordinator of Clinical Placement on matters related to student welfare or conduct during clinical postings.

f. Assist in preparing letters to hospitals, JKNS, and KKM.

6. COUNSELING AND MOTIVATION

a. Counsel and motivate students to improve their academic, and clinical performance and professional conduct.

b. Be accessible to students needing guidance and emotional support.

7. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

a. Attend seminars and workshops to identify creative ways to enhance clinical training methodologies.

b. Stay updated on current trends in healthcare through continuous professional development.

c. Take responsibility for personal and professional development.

III. OTHER DUTIES

Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time by the Head of the Nursing Faculty or designated representative on behalf of SEGi College Kuala Lumpur.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
