IT Specialist

Main Duties

1. Identifying hardware, diagnosing, repairing faults, software solutions and troubleshooting technical issues on-site and remotely.

2. Configure and support security tools and network devices to ensure the integrity and security of the organization's IT infrastructure.

3. Deploy, install, and configure set of hardware and software, and provide on-site training and support services.

4. Preparing technical documents, such as error reports, maintenance reports and knowledge documentation.

5. User account management for various systems.

6. To maintain in house systems

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support: Serve as the first point of contact for IT support and troubleshooting.

2. System Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.

3. Security Management: Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary updates and protocols.

4. Training: Provide training sessions for staff on new technologies and best practices.

5. IT Planning: Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and growth.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or system administration, with expertise in hardware, software, and network maintenance.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues; experience with network administration (LAN/WAN) and cybersecurity tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Background working as Server Administrator, Network Administrator will be an advantage.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
