Cafe Assistant

• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food items according to the café's recipes and standards. This includes washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients, as well as assembling simple dishes like sandwiches, salads, or breakfast items.
• Support to Chefs/Cooks: Assist chefs or cooks in the kitchen by following instructions and helping with various tasks such as mixing ingredients, preparing dough, garnishing dishes, and plating food.
• Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly to adhere to health and safety standards. Assist with dishwashing and ensure all kitchenware is clean and ready for use.
• Food Storage: Properly store food items in designated areas, ensuring that they are covered, labeled, and stored at the correct temperatures to prevent spoilage and contamination.
• Waste Management: Manage kitchen waste efficiently by disposing of food scraps and packaging materials appropriately. Follow recycling and waste disposal guidelines to maintain a clean and eco-friendly kitchen.
• Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisor. This may include assisting with inventory checks, organizing the storage areas, or setting up for special events.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
