Job Description


The E-Commerce Director will lead our client’s e-commerce strategy and operations within our media agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and e-commerce, with a passion for driving sales and enhancing the customer experience. This role will involve collaborating with various teams, including marketing, sales, and analytics, to develop and implement innovative e-commerce solutions that align with our clients’ goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and client needs.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of e-commerce professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their e-commerce goals and challenges, providing expert advice and tailored solutions.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with marketing, creative, and technical teams to enhance user experience and ensure cohesive messaging across all digital platforms.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the e-commerce budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement e-commerce technologies and platforms to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Grow agency relationship with ECOM vendors but not limited to the likes of Shopee/Lazada/Tiktok/Zalora/Sephora.
  • Budget Management: Leading and mentoring team to be the sync between vendors and internal finance teams. Stay on top of annual budget estimations and reconciliations to propose client with efficient ways of spending.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving e-commerce growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
