Job Responsibilities

Execute sourcing strategy through buying for Japan-related products for Food Hall at SEIBU TRX.
To coordinate buying, promotional & merchandising activities and follow through with timely inward and outward deliveries.
Manage existing vendors to ensure appropriate reorders, identification of fast sellers, timely logistics management, and negotiation of favourable terms.
Identify product range gap & source potential new products/new vendor.
Forecast sales of new items, promotional & seasonal products.
To organise, negotiate internally and with 3rd party to ensure correct quality levels on arrival, accurate delivery times, to maintain planned cost prices and continuity of supply chain
Collaborate with logistics, marketing, and creative team to maximize sales and optimize inventory
Evaluate product sales to ensure proper product selections
Make business recommendations re: opportunities based on trend, prior experience, data and analysis
Automate the business process for efficient operations
Evaluates and organizes products for special events

Requirements:-

Diploma or Degree in Retail Management /Supply Chain or its equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of buying, retail pricing, sourcing, operations management or related experience in Japan-related food products
Pleasant, strong interpersonal and leadership skills with positive attitude.
Good negotiation and brand managing skills.
Candidates must have good written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to analyse and forecast buying will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,315.79 - RM5,000.00 per month
