Chargeman (A4 Level)

1.Assist maintenance Superviosr / Asst Supervisor on work schedules, requirements and personnel resources to ensure duty requirements are properly met. Ensure subordinates compliance with safety, security, property and material management, time and attendance.

2. Accomplishes work in accordance with authorized work orders and duty requirements for response and performance. Ensures work orders are closed in a timely manner and completes work order feedback in accordance with established procedures.

3. Responsible in maintaining all machinery and mechanical equipment, ensuring they are functioning effectively and relaibly.

4. Communicate with section plant engineer and inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure accomplishment in most effective and efficient manner.

5. Interfaces with contractors, vendors consultants and government regulatory bodies as required achieving consistent equipment services and reduction of lost time as well as resolving compliance issues.

6. Monitors work to ensure control of costs, including minimization of overtime/lost time and effective of use of tools, equipment and materials; scope, including the documentation of changes to support job amendments; and quality of work performed.

7. Responsilbe in planning, executing and monitoring scheduled works and preventive maintenance on all equipment and mechanical system and installations.

8. Establish and communicate with store, purchaser and section plant Engineer for critical, heavy movement and Long delivery spare parts that required for plant usage.

9. Establish integrated work procedures such as HIRAC, JSA to improve safety in the maintenance division.

10. Apply and adhere all safety rules, assuring every personnel are aware of and employing safe work practices and promoting safety programs and behaviours.

11. Keeps current on procedures, policies, instructions, technical orders, and manufacturer's manuals. Guideline include those established by the supervisor, manufacture's handbooks, and engineering handbooks appropriate to the trade. Conducts on-the-job training.

12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
