  • Baking and Pastry Production: Assisting in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, cookies, breads, and other bakery items, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Decorating Pastries: Assisting in the decoration of cakes, tarts, and other baked goods, including icing, glazing, or adding toppings as directed by senior chefs.
  • Maintaining Workstation: Keeping the workstation clean, organized, and properly sanitized, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Following Recipes: Adhering to established recipes and presentation standards, while also ensuring portion control and minimizing waste.
  • Supporting Senior Staff: Assisting senior chefs (Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef) in more complex tasks or special orders as needed, such as preparing specialty desserts for events.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of ingredients and reporting any shortages to ensure sufficient supplies for production.
  • Assisting in Menu Development: Contributing ideas to the pastry section for new recipes or techniques when requested by senior chefs.
  • Quality Control: Checking baked goods for quality, including texture, flavor, and presentation, to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Adapting to Workflow: Collaborating with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow, especially during busy periods, and adjusting to any last-minute orders or changes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
