Your challenges and mission

  • Collaborate on a multi-cultural environment team with colleagues from all over the world, while enhancing your working practices. Your mission is not just about maintaining infrastructure; it's about crafting systems that empower and elevate our global workforce.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain large-scale cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and GCP. Your expertise will be the foundation that keeps our digital landscape robust and scalable.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. You're our safe keeper, ensuring our data is secure and our practices are effective.
  • Optimise cloud costs by analysing usage patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving strategies. You'll turn our cloud spending into a model of efficiency and innovation.
  • Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure resources. You'll make sure our infrastructure evolves as swiftly as our ideas.
  • Ensure high availability of production environments and minimise downtime through proactive monitoring, rapid troubleshooting, and effective incident response. Your proactiveness will keep our operations smooth and uninterrupted.
  • Employ Agile methodology to deliver incremental improvements and respond quickly to changing requirements. Your mission is to drive continuous improvement and ensure adaptability in our dynamic environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve systems and processes. Your insights will drive our technological evolution and keep us at the cutting edge.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and ability to contribute effectively as an individual contributor or in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in Windows systems administration, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP stacks.
  • Experience working with large-scale cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS and GCP
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and concepts
  • Understanding of Agile methodology, CI/CD concepts, and Git versioning
  • Ability to write and review scripts as needed, with a focus on automation and process improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of cloud environments

What's good to have

  • Familiarity with an additional development language such as Python, GO, C++, or .Net
  • Knowledge of MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Administration.
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configuration management platforms such as Octopus Deploy
  • Linux System Administration
