Role Purpose

Lead in securing ground handling business with customer airlines for charter and ad hoc operations at all Malaysia stations so as to ensure profitable ground handling operations and coordinate functioning of SAP as to ensure accurate revenue and transaction captured.

Key Accountability

  • Lead service agreement negotiation with customer airlines and third party handling agents as to ensure capturing and retaining the best profit margin.
  • Coordinate ground handling services requirement and operational challenges in order to deliver services to customer airlines.
  • Establish an acceptable understanding in practices among customer airlines, airport authorities and service areas within the organization as to address interest of the customer airlines.
  • Provide expertise in coordinating SAP functions as to ensure data and other standards and requirement is updated within the department.
  • Execute all processes, activities and projects of product development so as to ensure optimum cost management at the required productivity level while delivering ground handling products and services.

Qualifications & Working Experience

  • Tertiary education (Degree/Diploma in related disciplines (Business/Public Relation/Marketing ) or its equivalent from recognised institutions with at least 1-3 years working experience in airport operations and ground handling.
  • SPM with minimum 5 years working experience in airport operations and ground handling.
  • Required to attend all regulatory and mandatory training as per AeroDarat Training Manual (TGM) with passing mark.

  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Good knowledge and experience of airline operations, procedures and service level agreement.
  • Analytical, action oriented, enthusiastic, strong leadership qualities and people skills.
