Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team in the education sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with educational regulations and standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process for various educational programs and departments, developing accurate financial forecasts to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Grant Management: Oversee financial management of grants and funding, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and timely reporting on expenditures and outcomes.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and working capital, optimizing liquidity to support operational needs and educational objectives.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, institutional policies, and internal controls, assisting in external audits and implementing best practices for financial governance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with academic departments and administrative units to provide financial insights and support for program development and strategic initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on achieving institutional goals.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives related to financial management, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
