The lyf AOB (Ambassador of Buzz) is the creative driving force at lyf Chinatown Kuala Lumpur, bringing the lyf brand to life through engaging social experiences. This role is key to building and nurturing the lyf community by forming partnerships with local influencers, organizations, and businesses. The AOB will be responsible for curating relevant workshops, brand collaborations, and events, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver memorable guest experiences.

In addition to property-level responsibilities, the lyf AOB will collaborate with AOBs at other lyf properties in Malaysia to coordinate events and manage a monthly event calendar.

Job Description
Key roles and responsibilities include:

Partnership and Community Management

  • Develop a network of partnerships with relevant merchants (e.g., F&B, retail, festivals, art, design, tech, crafts, concerts, sports) to provide exclusive offers and experiences for guests.
  • Stay updated on social trends to identify potential partners that align with the lyf brand and community.

Events and Community Engagement

  • Plan and curate weekly property-level events aligned with lyf’s brand content pillars, as well as quarterly cluster-level events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the lyf operations team to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Act as the primary contact for community, building-level, or Ascott corporate event leads.
  • Assess event success by evaluating post-event return on investment (ROI) in coordination with the lyf Champion or lyf Area Manager.

Guest Review Management

  • Respond to online guest reviews in a timely manner, maintaining a positive relationship with the lyf community.
  • Manage internal guest reviews, ensuring feedback is addressed efficiently.

Marketing Support

  • Work closely with regional and corporate marketing teams to implement annual and quarterly marketing strategies for lyf properties in Malaysia.
  • Assist in curating pre- and post-event marketing content to generate excitement and boost participation, especially on social media.
  • Keep up-to-date with digital marketing trends to incorporate relevant keywords and enhance visibility in event communications.
