Material and Production Planning Manager - PENANG Department Supply Chain Summary Description Lead Material and production planning activities; which encompass daily production scheduling and shipment, direct and indirect material planning, facilitate and coordinate planning meetings / projects and system (Oracle) maintenance. Specific Duties And Responsibilities 1. Lead planning team and collaborate with KES master planner for monthly model mix build plan and material planning. 2. Oversee the master production schedule in daily rolling basis basing on the capability. 3. Liaise with IE and production to maximize capacity utilization. 4. Monitoring daily work orders attainment. 5. Provide guidance to material planning in managing Demand Share file for consignment items to suppliers. 6. Provide guidance in setting up the material purchase and safety stock strategy. 7. Lead, coordinate and facilitate planning related meetings and projects. 8. Responsible for planning in making sure the data integrity in system. 9. Managing and monitoring finish good and material inventory level to achieve the target set by management. 10. Trouble-shoots and analyses Oracle and Shop Floor MES (Camstar) system related issues. 11. Supervise Direct material, Bulk and MRO material planning. 12. To ensure that quality activities performed by incumbent and subordinates (if any) fall in line with MS ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IECQ HSPM QC 080000 procedures. 13.
