Warehouse Control Clerk

Job Summary The Warehouse Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, handling stock received into the warehouse, processing returns, and managing damaged or slow-moving stocks. This role ensures smooth warehouse operations and effective stock control, as accuracy and timeliness are essential. Job Responsibilities: 1. Receiving Stocks - Accept and verify incoming shipments by checking delivery order, invoices, or packing lists. - Inspect items to ensure accuracy of quantity, quality, and condition of stock. 2. Handling Returned Stocks - Process and inspect returned goods to assess condition and reason for return. - Coordinate with the relevant department for further actions on returned items. - Documents required for preparing the return process. 3. Handling Damaged or Unpopular Stocks - Regularly inspect stock for damage or defects, either during receiving, storage, or prior to dispatch. - Coordinate with relevant departments to determine the appropriate course of action for damaged stock, such as returns to the supplier, or disposal. - Regularly review inventory for slow-moving or unpopular items. 4. General Warehouse Duties - Liaise with other departments regarding stock issues, returns, and damaged items. - Support the warehouse team in daily tasks and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. - Follow safety guidelines, always maintaining a safe work environment. - Other various tasks as assigned by superior. Job Requirements: 1. Able to work in Bukit Mertajam. 2. Prior experience in warehouse, inventory, or related field preferred. 3. Able to work accurately. 4. Teamwork, problem solving, and multitask skills are essential. 5. Basic knowledge of computer skills.
