Section Head/ Senior Manager (Ketua Seksyen/ Pengurus Kanan)

In Malaysia, their Team comprises 3,000 people in seven locations dedicated to solving complex problems businesses are facing in today's increasingly challenging environment, whilst promoting sustainable business practices. They now seek to hire a mature and experienced candidate for the role of Section Head/ Senior Manager with responsibilities that include: Oversee and lead all operations within the Policy Processing Department, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Review and approve policy issuance requests that exceed team members' binding authority. Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, implementing strategies for continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal teams (Underwriting, Finance, Compliance) to facilitate efficient policy processing. Requirements Understanding of P400, any insurance PAS system, SAP, Bluesheets, and RPA tools for policy processing. Knowledge of personal motor, travel, home, and commercial policies (e.g., Business Package, Employee Medicare). Experience in project management, with a specific focus on managing large teams within shared services or the insurance industry. Experience in proposal development project planning and budgeting Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
