Summary:

As part of our client's expansion, they are seeking talented professionals to join their Business Development team and drive growth in the SME sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new SME clients by actively building and managing a sales pipeline through diverse channels such as networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
  • Craft and execute strategic plans for expanding the financing portfolio, targeting specific industries, understanding business needs, and creating customized financing solutions.
  • Lead negotiations and manage the closing of financing agreements, contracts, and partnerships, with a focus on maximizing revenue and scaling the business.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and risk, to ensure the successful delivery of financing solutions that meet client needs and adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management regarding client engagement, pipeline development, and market intelligence to inform business strategies.
  • Analyze and monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and client feedback to continuously improve our client's product offerings and drive innovation.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements to maintain compliance and position our client's services competitively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of business development experience, preferably within financial services or funding sectors, with a focus on SME clients.
  • Established B2B network with key SME accounts across industries such as construction, hospitality, telecommunications, or related sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven success in executing growth strategies and achieving sales targets.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for business growth and client acquisition.
  • A hunter mentality is essential, along with a strong drive for sales success.
  • Open to Malaysian only.
