Finance Executive (AR)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily Accounts Receivable functions
• Process & monitor collections from customers, process debit notes, credit notes, refunds and rebates
• Report on overdue invoices, generate reminders for overdue accounts and follow up on collections with respective departments
• Prompts communicate or updates to manager & sales team for AR disputes, determine next course of action to speed resolution and collection
• Responsible for sales revenue accounting in accordance with the corporate’s revenue recognition policies
• Prepare weekly bank payment
• Manage petty cash
• Manage unapplied cash, requesting remittance advices
• Update daily cashbook, determines company's cash position and perform cashflow
• forecasting
• Ensure month end close duties are prioritized and deadline are delivered on time-
• Participate in month end closing, including Revenue finalisation, Reconciliation for Bank, AR and Intercompanies, and Forex currency translation
• Monitor credit limit and overdue invoices for all customers
• Collaborate and work closely with various departments, able to discuss, review, articulate and recommend suggestions/ideas that contributes towards success of the company and financial plans
• To monitor & process urgent requests and tasks on a timely basis

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA /CPA)
• Possess solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and controls
• Possesses an analytical mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office application will be preferred
• Experience in Audit is an added advantage
• Knowledge of ERP System is an added advantage
• Immediate starter is preferred
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,066.58 - RM4,500.00 per month

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
