Production Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our metal stamping operations. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the production floor, coordinating with team members, and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of production targets. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Plan and organize production schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and delivery commitments.
• Oversee material and equipment availability, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained for uninterrupted production.
• Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain product standards and promptly address any deviations or issues.
• Track production metrics and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and product enhancements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in metal stamping to drive innovation and competitiveness.
• Create and implement SOPs to ensure systematic workflow.
• Supervise and lead production team to maintain cleanliness and tidiness.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a metal stamping or manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of metal stamping processes, equipment, and quality control standards.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.

• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and meeting production targets.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a dynamic production environment.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe work environment.

• Proficiency in using production management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and reporting.

• High level of adaptability and flexibility to work in a changing production environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
