Assistant Operation

The Assistant Production role is a vital part of the production team, responsible for providing support and assistance in various aspects of the production process. The role involves working closely with the production manager, supervisors, and other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the production line or department. The Assistant Production is expected to be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Assisting in Production Activities: Collaborate with the production team to perform various tasks, such as preparing materials, operating machinery, assembling products, and conducting quality checks. Ensure that production schedules are followed and production targets are met. Inventory Management: Help in maintaining inventory levels by tracking raw materials and finished products. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies required for production. Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts by conducting inspections and tests to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Report any issues to supervisors and assist in implementing corrective actions. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in identifying and addressing potential safety hazards. Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the regular maintenance and cleaning of production equipment. Report any malfunctions or breakdowns to maintenance staff promptly. Process Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Additional Task: • Tidying and cleaning in the work area. • Every day have to report the daily work to the supervisor. • Create an attitude of group cooperation and good communication. • Ensure the production time runs well and on time. • Every day have to do TTD (Things to Do) according to what is assigned by the company. You need to learn all the processes in production details as follows: - 1. Heat transfer • Preparing and setting up the heat transfer machine according to product specifications. • Always check the condition of the machine (heat press) and make sure everything is in good condition before starting production. • Ensure that every job given needs to be updated / checked before starting production. • Checking every production run must follow the "size/colour/fabric/pattern/design" criteria that have been set by the designer. • Monitor and supervise the lid printing process to ensure, it is not folded and skewed. • Loading and preparing the main materials, such as paper, fabric for production. 2. Digital Printer • Make sure the printer is in good condition. • Operate the printer machine carefully to print the desired design on the scarves • Ensure optimum production levels and minimize downtime and improve efficiency • Coordinate with the production team and supervisor to keep a timely production schedule 3. Quality Control • Perform comprehensive quality checks on the scarves that have been produced to ensure compliance with quality standards • Ensure that all products meet quality standards before sending to the customer • Ensuring there are no problems with the scarves such as embedded threads, damaged stitches and the quantity given is correct following the order. • Ensuring the size and color according to the order example given to the customer. • Communicate with the production team to provide feedback on quality and help in improving the production process.
