Job Objective

The role is to manage both internal and external communication channels and strategies in the region. The communication programs and activities shall be unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity. The duties include internal announcements, social media platforms, company websites, media, government & other regulatory relations, writing copy for company news and adhering to a company’s brand and identities by publishing content and materials as well as supporting the Corporate Social Responsibilities programs.

You will play an essential role in the following:

1) Corporate Communication & Corporate Branding

  • Lead and implement communication initiatives and campaigns.
  • Recommend optimal communication strategies to deliver targeted messages to specific audiences.
  • Create and develop communication content, including but not limited to press releases, articles, announcements, speeches, emcee scripts, newsletters, seasonal greetings, videos, corporate websites, and social media platforms.
  • Develop corporate collaterals and manage end-to-end delivery, including but not limited to corporate culture materials, annual calendars, notebooks, etc.
  • Explore and develop strategies across internal and external communication platforms, ensuring timely and engaging content publication.
  • Prepare corporate publications and ensure compliance with internal governance and external best practices.
  • Develop and manage corporate messages or statements, ensuring all content is current and easily accessible.
  • Create, edit, and consolidate content for company newsletters and reports, including requirements from the Group and external entities like ESG.
  • Collaborate with various divisions/departments on their programs, activities, and award submissions, supporting content creation, proofreading, and ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely communication.
  • Ensure alignment of corporate and brand identity across all communication channels to enhance brand awareness.

2) Employer Branding

  • Lead employer branding initiatives by creating and executing targeted social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Highlight the company’s strengths and tell compelling stories to boost employer branding and award submission opportunities.

3) Corporate Event Management

  • Plan and execute company events, including but not limited to town hall meetings, dialogue sessions, and other corporate functions including product launch, ensuring smooth execution and achievement of objectives.

4) Presentation and Media Production

  • Develop corporate presentation materials and ensure information is regularly updated for internal and external meetings.
  • Produce multimedia content such as posters and videos for corporate communication purposes as well as product communication.

5) Social Media and Website Management

  • Manage and monitor the company’s social media platforms, including responding to inquiries, managing comments, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Serve as the custodian of the company’s corporate website, ensuring content is current and relevant.

6) Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Lead and execute corporate social responsibility initiatives, donation drives, and sponsorship programs.
  • Track and maintain company-wide CSR reporting and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Propose sustainability-related initiatives and collaborate with the Sustainability team on activities supporting the company’s sustainability goals.
  • Coordinate annual sustainability disclosure requirements with external bodies, such as COP by UNGC and CDP.

7) Additional Duties

  • Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management, the Head of Department, or the Line Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications/ Journalism / Public Relations/ Corporate Communication/ Business/ Management.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in corporate communication-related role/ similar field.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English language with good copywriting skills
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design
  • Experience and strong knowledge in content creation, digital marketing, branding, graphic design, video editing, or event management as well as understanding current trends in digital media/social media.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications (eg: AI tools, Canva, etc.) and video editing skills.
