About The Job

The Brand Executive owns and drive initiative for brands under RPG’s portfolio of multi-million dollar D2C brands. This role requires an ability to be resourceful, think out of the box from traditional ways of marketing, and a passion for problem solving. Leading initiatives and campaigns of your store independently is what is expected from the Brand Executive. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong strategic thinking skills, creative marketing skills, excellent stakeholder and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for major campaign mechanic planning, training/monitoring Brand Executives’ daily tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (project manager) and escalation for integration activities between all departments (marketing, creatives & operations stakeholders), and initiate, collect and execute quarterly brand initiatives and strategies.
  • Supporting Brand Managers in developing strategies to drive growth & product performance and drive conversion rate of acquired products including: price optimization, PPC, packaging/inserts, coupons and deals, customer communications, creative, changing package dimensions, subscribe and save, removing unprofitable products and more.
  • Ensuring website functionality & integrity, UI/UX front-end changes.
  • Proactively catch issues before they are problems and understand everything about the ecosystem in which your products are selling (e.g., competitor landscape, industry landscape etc).
  • Coordinate with our Customer Happiness Manager and overseas customer service team to ensure we are providing a world class customer experience for your product portfolio.
  • Track deadlines, dependencies, decisions, and action items to ensure continuous progress in the acquisition and migration processes.
  • Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability across the relevant internal teams involved in all the campaigns/projects of each individual brand under RPG's portfolio.
  • Day-to-day tasks include setting up the data room, coordinating kick off meetings, managing logistics, and coordinating follow up activities.
  • Anticipate changes and bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical and operational constraints.
  • Proactively manage changes in project/campaign scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing brands, and in branding and/or marketing of brands.
  • Skilled in MS Project (or comparable software) and in-depth knowledge of new product development lifecycle
  • Abstractly creative; can leverage this skill to provide input on challenges in the process.
  • Ability to influence others by maintaining open channels of communication, fostering teamwork, and building relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to understand complex issues from various sources, while finding simple solutions
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, negotiate, and problem solve
  • Ability to execute under accelerated timeframes and quickly adapt to changes in priorities
  • Comfortable in working in a complex, ambiguous, ever-changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly
