Accounting Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in various accounting functions and will provide valuable exposure to the finance industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and has a strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.

- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.

- Help with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.

- Conduct reconciliations of accounts and assist in month-end closing processes.

- Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

- Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed.

- Learn and apply accounting software and tools used by the company.

- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
