Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full spectrum of the purchasing process including creates purchase order, liaise, monitor, follow up and expedite delivery with supplier.
• Primarily responsible to sourcing, selection and negotiating with suppliers to strive constantly for the best price whilst maintaining the highest level of quality, reliability and service in accordance to purchasing policies and procedures.
• Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products, ensure availability and the timely delivery of product.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Work closely with operations department in inventory management and control.
• Work closely with other departments including Sales/Marketing, Sales Support, Finance department etc.
• Analyze quotation and shortlist potential vendors for management approval.
• Support on the import & export shipment related issues.
• Maintain good recording in SAP system for any planning transactions.
• Submitting progress report to Management.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Superior or the Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least an SPM.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidate with experience working in Chemical industry is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Mandarin speaking candidate is preferred as the role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking suppliers.
