Job Requirement:
Education:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software, such as property management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Additional certification or training in housekeeping management or hospitality leadership is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housekeepers, and laundry personnel.
- Assign duties, manage schedules, and ensure adequate coverage to meet operational demands.
- Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with team members and prepare monthly reports for management
- Arrange schedules for wash linens and deep cleaning rooms.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed by housekeeping team members to maintain quality standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and public areas.
- Ensure that all rooms are cleaned and prepared according to established standards and guest preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Address any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
Guest Satisfaction:
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with front office and other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Implement procedures and initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and train staff on proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or violations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Operational Efficiency:
- Optimize productivity and efficiency within the housekeeping department while minimizing costs.
- Implement and enforce procedures to conserve resources, reduce waste, and maintain sustainable practices.
-Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
