The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry trends and the ability to align the department’s work with market demands and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Product Application Department, aligning team efforts with company goals and client needs.
  • Lead a team of Application Engineers and System Engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to understand market trends, client requirements, and industry demands.
  • Drive innovation within the department by staying abreast of emerging technologies, products, and industry advancements.
  • Oversee the analysis of client needs and the recommendation of suitable products, ensuring a high level of technical expertise and tailored solutions.
  • Lead the design and integration of comprehensive product systems, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal departments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Review and enhance technical documentation, presentations, and product application materials to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department, optimizing processes, workflows, and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with the Project Implementation team to ensure successful execution of recommended solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, departmental goals, and client feedback to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical department, preferably within the product trading or related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting systems, electrical components, EV chargers, and mechanical components.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of technical professionals.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to translate company goals into actionable departmental strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and nurture client relationships at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in system design, application engineering, or related fields.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess technical requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, presentations, and system architecture diagrams.
