  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job description

Title: Design Manager (MEP) - for Data Center Projects - (Mandarin Speakers)

Location: Johor

Duration: 12 Months – Renewable

Salary: RM13,000

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Design Leadership:
  • Oversee the planning and design of Data Center Projects.
  • Ensure alignment with schematic designs.
  • Manage the entire design lifecycle, including organizing and implementing the design process, and reviewing the construction plan.
  • Project Management:
  • Develop and implement design plans and schedules.
  • Ensure cost efficiency and quality control throughout the project.
  • Team Coordination and Problem Solving:
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize designs.
  • Resolve on-site issues and guide construction processes.
  • Design Review and Innovation:
  • Manage design disclosure and review design variations.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance project technology and management practices.
  • System Testing and Commissioning:
  • Lead the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and commissioning of Data Center systems and equipment.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for consultants, property owners, government bodies, suppliers, and contractors across Southeast Asia.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of design experience, with working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.
  • 5 years of experience with Data Centre projects.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Facilities equivalent disciplines.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Master in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Required skills: MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.
  • Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months
