Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Cafe Baker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency, and contributing to a warm and welcoming environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a range of Japanese pastries, breads, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all baked items are fresh, visually appealing, and of high quality.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and tracking supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the cafe team to create seasonal specials and menu items.
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with patrons about baked goods.
- Assist with packaging and presenting baked items for display.
Qualifications:
- Previous baking experience is highly requested!
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
