Offshore Crane Rigger

• Conduct visual inspections on equipment and rigging gear prior to deployment or installation on-site to identify any defects or damage and ensure compliance with safety standards. • Securely attach loads to rigging to provide support and prepare them for moving, utilising both manual method and power tools as required. • Fabricate, set up and repair rigging, supporting structure, hoists and pulling gear manually or with power tools, ensuring proper function and safety. • Use tag lines, rigging and pulling gear to move, support and control movement of equipment and materials being lifted, ensuring safe handling and positioning. • Demonstrate correct hand signals and utilize radio communication effectively as a banksman during hoisting and load movement operations, ensuring clear and precise communication with crane operators and other personnel. • Maintain effective communication with team leader as well as other team members to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and operational procedures throughout the job. • Participate in pre-use equipment and toolbox inventory checks, to verify the readiness and safety of tools and equipment before use. • Collaborate with team members to conduct risk assessments and lift planning before executing lifting operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures. • Responsible for the safety of the crew, including 3rd party personnel, and ensure the safe operation and handling of equipment and client’s assets in accordance with safety protocols. • To understand and carry out any work-related reporting in a proper manner according to company’s reporting structure
