We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our team and lead production operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: • Direct and oversee manufacturing operations in production lines, ensuring production targets, quality, and cost goals are met. • Plan production schedules to meet customer requirements for both local and international markets. • Coordinate with sales and logistics to manage production work orders and delivery timelines. • Monitor production plans, troubleshoot delays, and provide updates during operational meetings. • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and shop floor teams to ensure the availability of raw materials for smooth production flow. • Develop and implement manufacturing techniques like 5S, Lean, and TPM to improve productivity and reduce waste. • Work closely with the EHS team to address environmental impacts and set improvement targets. • Ensure the quality of raw materials and finished goods, incorporating quality into every aspect of production. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, reinforcing company policies and building a positive work environment. • Monitor equipment downtime, communicate with maintenance teams, and create work orders to resolve issues. • Prepare monthly production reports on output, yield, process wastage, and overall performance. • Create and manage production practices and processes that will contribute to continuous improvement ideas and actions. Job Qualifications: • Degree or Diploma in Chemical/Engineering or any related field. • 2-3 years of experience in supervisory or manufacturing roles. • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take on new challenges.
