Ascentrees International Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Investment Manager. The ideal candidate will manage and strategically grow the company’s surplus funds in stocks, gold, and options markets. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with brokerage firms and remisiers in a lean and agile environment, with performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trading strategies for managing surplus funds in stocks, gold, and options markets.
  • Collaborate with remisiers and brokers to execute trades efficiently.
  • Monitor financial markets and trends to identify investment opportunities.
  • Manage risk and ensure adherence to the company’s investment policies.
  • Provide regular reports on portfolio performance and investment decisions to senior management.
  • Utilize advanced trading platforms and financial tools for research, analysis, and trade execution.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions, brokers, and other key market players.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in stock, gold, and options trading (minimum 5 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, and investment strategies.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Interactivebrokers, MetaTrader, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Licensed in financial trading or a relevant certification is a plus.
  • Experience working with remisier or brokerage firms is preferred.
