About the Role

As a Content Strategist at SYNERGY XYZ, you will be responsible for leading our content creation efforts and aligning them with client objectives. You will craft and execute innovative content strategies across various channels to drive engagement and achieve measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

(1) Pitching and Proposal

  • Gather detailed client briefs, including marketing strategies, challenges, competitors, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Develop creative content proposals that align with client goals and expectations.
  • Recommend content strategies for different mediums and channels to meet project goals.
  • Define KPIs for each strategy and objective.
  • Apply content funnels and content pillars effectively to meet client needs.

(2) Team Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with the Content Planner on project-related tasks. Coordinate with design, writing, video, audio, community management, KOL/Influencer, and CRM teams for project execution.
  • Brief the production team on content strategy and oversee the development of creative concepts.

(3) Quality Control

  • Conduct quality checks on content before publication to ensure timely delivery and effectiveness.
  • Monitor content performance, make necessary adjustments, and improve quality and effectiveness.

(4) Reporting

  • Prepare monthly reports, including metrics for improvement, competitor analysis, and insights.

(5) Client Servicing

  • Follow up with clients on feedback and approvals to ensure timely production and delivery.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, ad-hoc tasks, amendments, and feedback.
  • Propose new strategies and ideas when appropriate to meet client needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital content strategy or within an agency environment.
  • Proven experience in content strategy, planning, and creative concept development.
  • Strong understanding of digital content types, content funnels, and content pillars.
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Client servicing experience is a plus.
