Purpose of the position

  • Monitoring and reporting order design statuses to direct manager.
  • Lead a team of Project Leaders for smooth flow of customer orders from receiving of order to delivery.
  • Train new Project Leader on processes and factory flow.
  • Support the production in CSP / CME product line
  • Project management and opportunity to be part of the product development project.
  • Interacts internally with sales, product support, customer engineering and manufacturing team throughout the order transaction.
  • Work directly with other engineering disciplines to establish product concepts, perform design verifications, carry ideas through final product design and rapidly respond to design changes to manufacturing team.
  • Main frontline contact (Sales, product support and customer visits)
  • Order delivery scheduling with master planner
  • Customer representative in the factory.
  • Coordinate with customer engineer, production and material planning throughout the order design/project.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Summary of order design specification (ODP) for factory.
  • Final production drawing review with production team
  • New/Customization components cost/lead time review with P/L team and Sourcing.
  • Must show leadership skill to lead the team that can contribute toward improving design practices, product line growth and product knowledge transfer.
  • Support projects to enhance, or cost reduce, designs that will involve: components requirement, DFM and compliance of customer specification.
  • Coordination testing protocol with customer inspection team
  • Accountable for the OTD process for every order including commissioning support.
  • Review impact on design change in term of cost and time table (OA Analysis)
  • Factory capacity review for project planning and delivery.
  • Order specification checkpoint and reviews with CE engineers
  • Project lead for R&D project / NPI.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

  • A relevant Degree in related engineering discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in factory operation flow and processes.
  • Project management & Planning knowledge.
  • Knowledge and methodology in spreader technical designs.

Skills

  • Relevant experience on project management tools/software.
  • Understanding of industrial standards related to machinery and structure.
