Job Responsibility

  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
  • Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
  • Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
  • Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
  • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Run cost analyses of the various types of work as a forerunner to tender preparation.
  • Prepare the tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the superior and the client.
  • Be knowledgeable of construction techniques on projects.
  • Have sound working knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of Conditions of Contract
  • Preparation of Cash flow forecasts
  • Assist in the preparation of advice on contract procurement
  • Traveling from the office to various sites as required
  • Reporting to the senior contract officer.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management or similar
  • Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantages
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Sound Knowledge of construction
  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize, plan and strategize
