Job Responsibility
Job Requirements
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Run cost analyses of the various types of work as a forerunner to tender preparation.
- Prepare the tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the superior and the client.
- Be knowledgeable of construction techniques on projects.
- Have sound working knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of Conditions of Contract
- Preparation of Cash flow forecasts
- Assist in the preparation of advice on contract procurement
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required
- Reporting to the senior contract officer.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management or similar
- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantages
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Sound Knowledge of construction
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, plan and strategize
