We are seeking a talented and creative Agency Copywriter to join our dynamic team. As a Copywriter, you will work closely with the creative, strategy, and marketing teams to craft compelling and engaging content for a variety of clients and industries. You will be responsible for creating persuasive and clear copy for advertising campaigns, websites, email marketing, social media, and more. The ideal candidate is a passionate wordsmith with a keen eye for detail, an ability to adapt to different tones and styles, and a strong understanding of marketing principles.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and compelling copy across a wide range of mediums including websites, advertisements, social media, email campaigns, brochures, landing pages, and more.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams, and clients to understand project goals and ensure the messaging aligns with the client’s objectives and brand voice.
- Campaign Development: Assist in the ideation and development of creative concepts for marketing campaigns, ensuring that the copy is effective, engaging, and on-brand.
- Editing & Proofreading: Review and edit your own work and the work of others to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients as needed, including gathering input and feedback on copy drafts.
- Research & Strategy: Conduct research into clients’ industries, target audiences, and competitors to produce copy that resonates with the intended audience and outshines the competition.
- Brand Voice: Maintain and adapt each client's brand voice across different platforms and mediums while ensuring consistency across all content.
- Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-6 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in an agency setting.
- Proven experience across different content formats (digital, print, social media, email, etc.).
Portfolio:
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of copywriting samples including website copy, advertisements, email campaigns, social media posts, and more. Must demonstrate creativity, versatility, and clarity.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Ability to adapt writing style to different brands, industries, and audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs;
- Able to integrate AI outputs (ChatGPT etc) with human creativity for best results.
- Able to prepare presentation deck/slides with marketing strategies n ideas.
- Basic understanding of content marketing principles and how copy fits within broader marketing strategies.
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
