Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and bilingual Video Editor fluent in English and Mandarin to join our content team. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand’s messaging and style. You will work closely with the marketing and content creation teams to create engaging video materials for both English and Mandarin-speaking audiences. Our content spans educational courses, social media, and marketing campaigns, and we currently have a following of over 50,000 on platforms such as Xiaohongshu, YouTube, Instagram, and Bilibili.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce video content for educational courses, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all video materials are consistent with the brand's voice and cater to both English and Mandarin-speaking audiences.
• Collaborate with the content team to plan, script, and execute video projects.
• Add subtitles, graphics, and animations, ensuring engaging emojis and eye-catching thumbnails.
• Manage video production timelines to meet deadlines for regular content uploads.
• Stay updated on video editing trends and implement fresh techniques to keep content engaging.
• Split long-form videos (15-30 minutes) into multiple short-form clips (3-4 minutes) as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Experience creating content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, and Bilibili.
• Strong understanding of video production, including scripting, editing, and post-production.
• Experience in creating videos with eye-catching thumbnails, subtitles, and emojis.
• Familiarity with video styles from creators like Alex Hormozi, Vanessa Lau, Ali Abdaal, and 小船.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,575.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
