Job Description

Working closely with the Head of Claims Operations, your main responsibilities will be to lead significant Transformation programs in the region for claims; to develop approaches and methods for optimisation, standardisation and automation of claim processes; deliver digital transformation and automation projects adhering to all governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to strive for end-to-end process excellence and automation that enables scalability, reusability and continuous growth
  • Work closely with functions such as business/UW teams, product owners, techincal architects and developers to estimate effort and resources required to implement or integrate transformation initiatives
  • Own Transformation workshops with key stakeholders ensuring business outcomes are established and followed
  • Build foundations and share leading practices/guiding principles between countries
  • Manage all phases of Transformation projects within timeline, budget, and scope (oversee project planning and delivery, including establishing timelines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarising project progress)
  • Proactively and effectively manage transformation risks and issues
  • Manage project governance processes throughout the lifecycle of the project and prepare reports for project sponsors and senior stakeholders regarding status and outcomes of projects and ensure clear, relevant communication is provided
  • Ensure quality and acceptance of deliverables as well as oversight of user acceptance testing and results
  • Engage relevant L&C teams and obtain necessary approvals

Qualifications

Skills & Experience required:

  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst
  • Experience in insurance industry will be preferred
  • Experience directly or indirectly in transformation and process optimisation
  • Experienced with working in a cross-functional team and with team members in different geographical locations
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence, persuade and drive action.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills – an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • A creative mindset and a willingness to question assumptions and conventional practices.
  • Knowledge on creating new systems and solving problems via infrastructure and automation
  • Proven capability to develop and adapt project management approaches and methods and to lead and train project team members on the approaches and methods.
  • Working knowledge of important IT digitalization, business transformation, and process excellence concepts and approaches.
  • Demonstrated track record of positively impacting organizations and transitioning work, processes, and employees to higher value business models.
  • Ability to lead and manage a cross-functional project team.
