Timely delivery of DHL packages around the globe in a way that ensures customer data are secure is in the core of what we do. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our services. Your responsibilities will include defining test conditions based on given requirements, such as Impact Analysis documents or user stories. You will design test cases and create test scripts that adhere to the specified specifications. It is important to have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Executing and documenting test cases within the project's timeline and test plans will be essential. Your expertise in analyzing and reporting test activities and results, as well as your strong experience in performing and analyzing PST, will contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes. Identifying and reporting any issues or risks encountered during testing will also be part of your role. Having a keen eye for spotting errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in the software being tested is crucial. Additionally, your strong communication skills will be valuable in collaborating with the development team, providing bug reports, feedback, and recommendations. Proactively updating senior team members on the status of any issues is expected. Understanding the end-to-end flow of how shipments are processed within the DHL network will be an added advantage. As a Test Engineer, having Selenium is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of Splunk will also be an integral part of this role.
You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of Unix/Linux scripting, HP-ALM, QTest, Jira, Confluence, SoapUI, and SQL Developer. You are able to work independently prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.

Hi, my name is Fatima Liszeth Villapando and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2007, when I took a role as Application Support Specialist in the SCL team. Gaining more hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Informix and Webmethods has always fascinated me. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Principal Application Support Specialist role. In 2016, I moved to a management role, being Manager of Service Support Team. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – technology. Looking forward to having you onboard!
