Intern Manufacturing Technician 2025 Intake

Texas Instruments is seeking 2025 Technician Interns who will be responsible for performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. In this role you will utilize diagnostic equipment and various vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions.

Location:

• Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Batu Berendam, Melaka

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing SKM 4, Vocational Certification or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical or relevant engineering fields

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
• Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating and monitoring semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to optimize performance.
• Support engineers and senior technicians in process improvements and yield enhancement activities.
• Record and maintain accurate production data, such as equipment downtime, product quality issues, and output performance.
• Conduct inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and improve workflow efficiency.
• Participate in training and development programs to gain knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
