Secondary Biology Teacher

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for creating curricular in accordance with state educational standards, lesson planning, assigning, grading homework including assessing student progress.
• Investigate the building blocks of life, develop students critical thinking skills, learn and follow the scientific method.
• Develop students written and verbal communication skills.
• Responsible for meeting with parents, supervising students during extracurricular activities and attending professional development seminars and various other training courses.
• Maintaining a safe and student-focused classroom environment.

Job Requirements:

• At least Degree in Biology/ Science.
• Minimum 3 years formal teaching in Biology/ Earth Science or relevant subject experience.
• Demonstrate competency in the core academic Biology subject assigned.
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Carry out particular professional duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Principal.
• Aware, comply and commit to all RAS child protection, health, safety, security policies, and procedures of the school.
