Temporary Finance Assistant (Contract 6 months)

• Supervise and monitor Fixed Asset tagging exercise and work with department business users to ensure each asset in Fixed Asset register is identified and tagged.
• Witnessing department business users identification of Fixed Assets to be written off / asset items that are no longer identifiable ie items in FA list not found physically
• Assist in establishing Fixed Asset tagging and Fixed Asset management process flow and procedures flowchart.
• Supervise and monitor post completion of fixed assets tagging exercise that all new incoming assets are tagged and existing assets tagging are running in order.

Filling: (approx. 500 document boxes)

• Documents re-arrangement and sorting for <7 years & >7years (for subsequent destruction)
• Segregation of documents according to documents type and references, attach indexing into document boxes, creating documents archive folder and references for future searches
• Placing documents according to indexes into document boxes to be sent to Crown Storage

AP cleaning: (approx. 20 suppliers/receivables accounts)

• Investigate and find documents pertaining to prior years’ Accounts Payables/Accounts Receivables documents for re-claim of back-charge outstanding amounts from suppliers/customers.

Deposits records: (approx 5 deposit accounts)

• Investigate and find documents pertaining to prior years’ deposits outstanding for re-claim of outstanding deposits.

QUALIFICATION :

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Business or equivalent.
• At least 1 year working experience in Finance/ Accounts is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer savvy.
• Independent, self-motivated, proactive and team player.
• Possess positive attitude, meticulous, and good analytical skill.
• Fresh graduates with Diploma are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
