Barista/ Cafe Assistant

Breda + Roosendal are non halal Cafe serving western cuisine and dessert located at Ipoh Garden East. We are looking for 2 dedicated Barista who are passionate towards coffee latte art and has the potential to be further develop as cafe assistants.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Brew & prepare a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos. Steam, froth milk to create microfoam, and pour latte art when applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, regularly clean coffee equipment and machines.
• Inventory control (stock and balance) of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage supplies.
• Assist to prepare dessert & beverage items when required. At times when busy, assist to serve customers so to provide an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of experience in doing coffee latte art. School leavers who can do simple coffee latte art (ie.love, tulip) are welcome to apply.
• Can understand simple English. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision. Meticulous with an eye on details.
• Assist to prepare dessert & beverage items when required. At times when busy, assist to serve customers so to provide an exceptional dining experience.

Working Hours ~
(F/Time): 9am- 5:30pm/ 1:30pm - 10pm (weekly rotational shift)
(P/Time): 10am- 3pm (3- 5 days work per week)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
