BEHAVIOURAL THERAPIST

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and treatment goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and evidence-based interventions.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to clients using various modalities such as behavior modification, and other evidence-based approaches.
• Monitor clients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive and effective treatment environment for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, progress, and treatment plans.
• Implement behavior management techniques and teach coping strategies to clients to promote positive behavioral changes.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience working as a Behavioral Therapist or in a related role is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of psychological principles, behavioral analysis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Empathetic and patient-oriented approach to understanding and addressing clients' needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle challenging behavioral situations with composure.
• Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals across various age groups (children, adolescents, adults, or seniors) with behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Familiarity with specialized therapeutic techniques for specific disorders or populations.
• Additional certifications or specialized training in behavioral therapy or related fields.
