  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description

This is a remote Video Editor Internship role at The Financial Coconut. The Video Editor Intern will be responsible for tasks such as video and audio production, editing, color grading, and graphics creation. They will collaborate with the content team to create engaging video content for the platform.

Duties:

  • Video Editing: The primary responsibility of a video editor is to edit raw video footage into a final product. This involves selecting the best shots, trimming or cutting unnecessary parts, and arranging clips to create a coherent and engaging story.
  • Audio Editing: In addition to video, video editors often work with audio. This includes cleaning up audio tracks, adjusting levels, adding music, sound effects, and ensuring that the audio complements the video.
  • Ensuring brand consistency in all copy by following existing brand guidelines

Qualifications

  • Video Production and Video Editing skills
  • Have some experience using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, FCP (Mac users).
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in financial education and content creation arre a plus
  • Pursuing or completed studies in Film, Media, Graphic Design, or related fields (preferred but not required)
  • Willing to learn
