POSITION TITLE: Senior Para-Legal/Junior Counsel (Contract)
REPORTS TO POSITION: TBC

General Summary Of Position
The Candidate supports the Senior Counsel Operations in providing day-to-day legal support of
needs of Ansell's Global Operations and Manufacturing group and delivering high value, timely and
cost-effective legal services.
The Candidate further supports the law Department in the preparation of key legal documents;
development and management of contracts/documents and associated processes and systems;
coordination of corporate housekeeping; and general assistance in the administrative management
of the Law Department. In addition, the Candidate will assist with key reporting and governance
initiatives and requirements.
Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities
Perform legal, factual and records research, identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, legal
articles, codes, and other pertinent material, organize and analyze information, cross-check
and validate information, and prepare reports.
Draft, edit, review, and negotiate various documents, agreements and forms, which include
NDA's, Manufacturing, Supply/Sourcing and Services Agreements, as well as various policies
and procedures.
Assist in advising on various legal topics including corporate and commercial law matters,
contract law and agreements, labour and employment matters and policies, claims / product
liability issues and data privacy.
Build and maintain databases and files; implement and maintain contract/document
management systems and processes, organize and track case files; review and monitor new
and updated laws and regulations.
Provide legal support and company secretarial services to the Ansell Group entities, such as
managing minutes, officers, directors, etc.
Assist in litigation management and reporting.
Assist the Global Compliance Officer to develop and implement compliance programs,
policies and training as needed, based on legal and regulatory requirements, industry
standards and best practices.
Key Knowledge, Education, And Experience Requirements
Law degree / degree in Paralegal Studies (or equivalent)
(if not para-legal) Admitted and member in good standing with local bar or qualify for in-
house counsel license.
2 - 3 years corporate / commercial experience at a law firm or in-house legal department /
Business Environment / International Experience Preferred
Experience with Manufacturing Operations preferred
Understanding of litigation and commercial/corporate transactional processes
Good working knowledge of standard office technology and equipment and office procedures
Fluent in English and Malay and other languages would be a plus point
