Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Sales - Partner Manager with a minimum of 3 years in software sales to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operating, developing, or planning a Channel Business Partner Program, also known as an indirect sales division or reseller program. This role is critical in driving our partner strategy and ensuring our partners have the necessary resources and support for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Partner Development:
  • Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, including identifying potential partners and onboarding new ones.
  • Collaborate with partners to define joint sales strategies, target markets, and growth initiatives.
  • Partner Program Management:
  • Plan, implement, and manage the Channel Business Partner Program to enhance partner engagement and sales performance.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Pre-sales Support:
  • Provide pre-sales assistance by collaborating with partners to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to partners and their customers.
  • Post-sales Support:
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of new customers to the post-sales team and provide ongoing support to partners in addressing customer inquiries and issues.
  • Collect feedback from partners to improve product offerings and service delivery.
  • Training and Education:
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Create educational resources, such as webinars, guides, and documentation, to support partners throughout the sales cycle.
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Track partner performance metrics and sales results, providing regular reports to management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance partner productivity and sales growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales, with a focus on channel or partner management.
  • Proven experience in operating, developing, or planning a Channel Business Partner Program.
  • Strong understanding of pre-sales and post-sales processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
  • Experience in developing training and educational materials for partners is a plus.
