Position Overview:
You will play a crucial role in managing our company’s cash flow and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable process, from invoicing to payment follow-ups. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in maintaining positive client relationships while ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial policies.
This will be a contract position for 6 months.
The position will be based in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare proforma invoices, JCT & invoices to clients
- Email to clients to obtain approval for JCT/PFI
- Key in invoices, principal invoices in Quickbook
- To follow up payment with clients
- To update AR invoice tracking and collections
- To liaise with account managers, operations on issues pertaining to invoicing to clients
- Prepare payment to Principals
- Prepare WHT payment to LHDN before deadline
- Issue Payment voucher and obtain approval from management
- Key in payment received from clients and payment made to Principals in Quickbook
- Update cashbook in excel format and upload in Server
- Keep proper record & filing copy of invoices and payment vouchers
- To assist during statutory audit
- Assist ad-hoc job requested
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
